Date: 07/28/2010 Question: How Do I clear my Browser's cache, cookies, temporary files Answer: INTERNET EXPLORER 7 & 8: 1. Select the Tools menu item (IE 7) or Safety menu item (IE 8), then select "Delete Browsing History":
2. Select "Delete files", then select "Yes" to delete all the files in your cache. Next, select "Delete Cookies", then select "Yes" to delete all the Cookies you have acquired from websites. Lastly, select "Delete History", then select "Yes" to delete all of the history items in your browser:
3. After the history has been cleared, select "Close" to exit the browsing history window.
INTERNET EXPLORER 9: 1. Select the Tools icon (the gear) in the top right corner:
2. Select "Internet Options" from the drop down menu:
3. On the General tab, select "Delete" in the Browsing History section:
4. Confirm that "Temporary Internet files", "Cookie", and "History" are checked, then select "Delete":
FIREFOX: 1. Select the Tools menu item:
2a) For Firefox 3.4, select "Options", then select "Clear Private Data" to open the Clear Private Data dialog box. Select the options you wish to clear (normally Cookies and Cache.), then select "Clear Private Data Now". 2b) For Firefox 3.5 and higher, select "Choose Clear Recent Data". (NOTE: Continue to next step only for Firefox 3.5 and higher.) 3. Select "Clear Everything", then select "Clear Now":
