Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide information about becoming an online tutor through eTutoring.

Question

I am a tutor and am looking to offer my services through eTutoring. How do I go about inquiring for a position?

Answer

As eTutoring is a national program that is growing in demand, new tutors are always welcomed. However, the Support Center and the CTDLC do not participate in any of the actual tutoring and thus cannot offer any positions to tutors within the organization. If you are interested in offering tutoring services to students via eTutoring, you should direct your inquiry to one of the many schools that currently uses eTutoring.

The quickest way of contacting a school is to click the 'Login Now!' button on the eTutoring home page to pull up the list of schools and consortiums. From here, you can click on any of the institution links found on the first list or within a consortium list to get to the institution's main login page. Each login page has a point of contact that is the eTutoring representative for that institution. Contacting this person is the best way to being the inquiry process.
