eTutoring - Login Trouble

The purpose of this article is to detail first-level troubleshooting for users unable to login to their account.


I’m having trouble logging into my eTutoring account. What do I do?


Before performing any first-level troubleshooting, make sure that the following are in order:

  1. You are at eTutoring and not one of the program’s sister sites.
  2. You are at your institution’s login page.
  3. You have selected ‘Student’ as the account type.

If you are unable to login to your account, please follow the steps below:

  1. All login pages will have steps detailing how to login for that specific institution, including first-time access. Read these instructions before entering any username and password information.
  2. Both username and password fields are case sensitive, so make sure to turn off the Caps Lock key and that your Shift keys are not sticking during the information entry process.
  3. Utilize the ‘Forgot Password?’ button. This will send a brand new password generated by the system to the email account tied to your username, which is typically the email provided to you by the school.

If you are not able to log in with the newly generated password, there will be a point of contact at the school that is in charge of accounts and account creation on each login page. You will want to contact this individual first to ensure that have an account in the system or an active account in the system.
